Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth of Essex, 24/10/24. Almost clear golden orange topped with a lasting just off white head. Nose is grass, lychee, pineapple, grapefruit, pine nip. Taste comprises bitter orange, grass, pine needle, grapefruit, mandarin, soft malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy come lightly grassy hop bitterness. Okay easy drinking DIPA with an old skool lilt.

Favlour is composed of soft wheat, some sweetness, fennel, green liquorice, light veg, mild citrus, Maybe a bit old. Palate is semi sweet, flaked grains, moderate carbonation. Meh.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver, 041524, 5 month old
Hazy blond colour. Fruity aroma, tropical, papaya, melon. Off dry, no chalk, with wheat and oats flavour, good bitterness bite, with citrus peel dominating; some hot alcohol in the finish. Good beer, not a typical Hazie, mind you. This is a 8% stovepipe, let's see how the evening will end...

Can. Tallboy! A light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate starts quite silky but soon develops good fine minerally carbonation. Smooth pale malts, a less creamy refined malt base than you would find in the vast majority of Dipas out there but it's never grainy. The unusual hop trio deliver up front cooling pine and light hop spice. There is light citrus - slightly floral, some mild resin, a little soft grass, vague candy fruits on the back end. Popped my cherry on Helios hops here, interesting addition. Strata largely lost until the very end when a whisper of passion fruit comes through. Light crisp finish. Nice brew. A very clean and drinkable dipa and with an eclectic and interesting hop profile.

Pours hazy gold into a willi. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving trailing soapy sheets. Lemon joy and pine aromas. Crisp with sweet lemon joy, hot caramel, and sweet pine front to back.

Tangerine. Some passion fruit, Buddha fingers. Pretty pleasant hops aroma here, a better hazy than many hard-core West Coast traditionalists make. Slightly hazy golden pour. Light bitter end, light to medium body. Can.
