American Brown Ale

50cl can. Poured dark brown color with a thin off white head. Bready malts, some chocolate and mild hops. Thin body, watery. Empty finish. Cocoa, malts and mild hips in flavor. Forgettable.

(Can, 0.5 l - BB unreadable, from a supermarket, 20170928) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, caramel and pine. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, caramel, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was watery, malty and bitter. A brew showing hints of pleasant scents and tastes but unfortunately the end result was too watery.

A dark brown beer, a head is big and blond. Aroma has bread and roastiness, citrucy hoppyness, hint of metal when cold and some herbs when warmer. Taste has quite strong roastiness but not too much, bread, citrucy hoppyness, nice bitterness. Medium bodied, nicely smooth carbonation. Good beer again from Olvi's premium series. Not a boring brown ale.
