Canned (From Sale Palosaari) Ambery brown colour with a mediumsized foamy head. Toasted malts, mild earth and some black currant in the aroma. Flavour is mild roast, some liquorice, a bit black currant and some slight tart edge and nutty notes to it.

Can 50 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a dense, off-white head - bordering beige. Lovely toffeeish nose, burned caramel and hazelnuts - and a vague hint of perfumy hops. Rich malty and sweet body, again with plenty of caramel sweetness but still sufficient hops to keep the balance in check. A very well executed moder Brown. 141118

From backlog. 500ml can. Sweetish, slightly earthy and lightly roasty ale with hints of coffee, cardboard, herbal notes and bitterness. Decent.

Canned, thanks Tbone! Clear nut brown, rich firm head. Black currant and toast up front. Mid dry with light-medium body and clean, rounded. Mid intensity licorice and black currant. Mellow bitterish finish. Exceeding my expectations.

Can 500ml (S-Market)
Dark brown colour, small beige head and lace. Rye bready, a bit caramelly aroma. Light-bodied. Caramel, dark bread, nuttyness, some American hops. Easy finish. No big faults, just a bit boring. Maybe works with some food.

Can 0.5l at home, Vantaa. Colour is dark brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Some chocolate, grass, dryness, hops and malts. Pretty hoppy but cant find much brown ale elements. Some nuts and pretty good drinkability makes this one quite good easy beer.
