330ml bottle from Morrisons, Darlington. Golden colour, white foam head that rapidly dissipates away and aroma of apple, woody oak. Taste is fruity apple, sweetish, with brandy, wood, boozy, bitter earthy tannins. Medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, drying bitter tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

Tap/Bladder box ? at the Sheffield Tap, 20/05/16. Clear golden with a decent off white cap for a cider. Nose is sweet apple, straw, grains, light wood. Taste comprises apple pie, light booze and brandy, grains, straw, toffee apple. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Ok and drank fairly easy for the ABV but similarly failed to deliver in terms of depth.

Bottle (from siidrimaja). Pours dark golden with whiteish head. The head stays for a minute. Aroma is sweet, apples, sour, full. Flavor is very sweet, sour, fresh apples, some dryness, some oak. Nice thick body, alcohol is well covered by the sweetness. Drinkability is really good. Overall: good. bit too sweet.

Bottle from Darts Farm, near Exeter. It pours rich honey gold with no head. The aroma is rich, musty, funky, wood, light vanilla, apple skin and sweet apple pie. The taste is initially sweeter than expected, sugared stone fruits, tart apple skin, over-ripe apple, tannins, big boosty alcohol, woody brandy and mild astringency with a lingering dry, warming finish. Medium body, flat and oily mouth-feel. Nice aroma, but it is a bit rougher around the edges than I expected.
