On tap at Klatorny Pivovar, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, with a touch of earth. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready malt, some roast and toasted nuts. A bit of burnt malt, with a very creamy palate. This is a really nice dunkel.

Tap at the brewery. Assertive roastiness with moderate chocolate/notes, yet soft mouthfeel. Lightly caramelly. Bitterness is moderate-light high, imparted both by bold hopping and roasted malts. Easy drinking despite the strength and style. Quite good.
