This is our take on a traditional German Pilsner. A full malt bill; bready and soft caramel notes which has been generously hopped with a blend of Hallertauer Mittlefruh and Saaz hops and fermented with a classic Bavarian yeast. Clean, crisp and classic.
Note: Initially also known as Craft Pilsner.

33cl can from Sip, Tallinn. Pours clear, slightly hazy pale golden with a white head. Mild malty aroma with grassy and herbal notes and hints of caramel and fruits. Moderate sweet with relatively low flavour intensity, but a pleasant bitterness. Decent stuff.

Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of light malt, grain, citrus notes and a little grass. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with moderate carbonation.

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, hopfig, etwas Citrus, ganz schwach Honig. Leicht süß mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, leichter Körper mit sanfter Kohlensäure.

Neben den ganzen Spezialitäten der Brauerei wirkt ein klassisches Pilsner richtig primitiv, aber es hat durchaus seine Berechtigung. Es ist relativ bitter und riecht eher unangehem nach altem Brot. Dazu gibt es ein paar buttrige Noten, die aber mitter Bitterkeit nicht zusammenpassen. Die bitteren Hopfennoten gefallen mir ganz gut, aber so richtig begeistern kann mich das Bier nicht. Da nehme ich lieber die amerikanischen Bierstile der Brauerei.

330ml can at Farmers Bar, Puchong, Malaysia. Poured a hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light citrus hops with some herbal notes. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a fresh, crisp, light fruity, chamomile, light sweet caramel, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. A rather unusual, but very tasty Pilsner.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden colour, white foam head and aroma of malt, grain, fruity. Taste is malty, grainy, with fruity tangy grassy bitter finish. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry grassy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Many thanks to Marko! Smooth mild beginning. Round and nice crisp. Moderate bitter, slightly grainy. Easy to drink, grainy bitter with a grainy dry bitter finish. Nice!

19/10/2020. Can from Beers Of Europe. Pours clear pale gold with an average size frothy white head. Aroma of sweet malt, citrus, grass, grain and touch of lemongrass. Medium plus sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Decent pils.
