440ml can. Clear, chestnut colour with ruby shimmer and average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Weak, spicy malty and minimally grassy, hoppy aroma, a minimally bready touch of rye spiciness, weak liquorice overtones. Taste is slightly dry, moderately bitter, grassy hoppy and toasty, minimally spicy, rye malty, a touch of toasty bread crust, a weak liquorice effect somehow. Slightly creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium to fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation. Very nice colour, a bit weak - not fully convincing.

Probably nice, but on this occasion has no condition. Dead as a dead thing

Cask @ Cromwell's Tap House. Pours a clear deep brown, off-white head. Really satisfying rye red.. good glowing Autumnal fruity character with nice sweet shades.. could've been one dimensional, thin but has a good depth of flavour.

Cask at the Old Joint Stock, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark copper colour with a bubbly off white head. The aroma is malt, oak, herbal. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a smooth, malt, earthy, herbal, dry oaky, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

440ml can. Pours a clear deep red, light beige head. Aroma of pine, citrus. Taste of piney hops, light rye spice, bready malts, citrus peel, a hint of caramel and other dark fruity notes, finish is quite bitter. Light bodied. A surprising collab, hoppier than expected for Adnams. Lacking oomph but decent low-ish ABV RyePA.
