Folding Water is our Bavarian-style helles lager brewed with a blend of pale pilsner malts and hopped in the kettle with saaz and saphir. Folding Water was fermented with our favorite German lager strain before being spunded to naturally carbonate. Folding Water was lagered ice cold for a long spell and is unfiltered.

Golf body with almost no head. Pleasant hop and bread aroma. Bready taste with hoppy edges. Pleasant but short finish.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear gold with a moderate and somewhat transient white head. Aroma is grass/spice with a bready note. Med body. Flavor is grass/spice with bready support. Not wholly dry and lightly bitter. However, it is pleasing. Gentle, but nice, flavor.

Aromas are malty, bready, with a little spice and floral. Flavors are similar to nose, floral comes out a bit more. Slightly more sweet than bitter with decent carbonation. Typical for the style. Good but not great.

On tap at Bizarre, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out seltzery notes, straw and light herbal grassiness. Flavour is tangy and bright, with straw, grassiness, and straw. Close enough to style, but not exactly on point. Good but could be improved.
