Sprengtporten- hankkeen tiimoilta toteutettu muinaisolut on tehty yhteistyössä Helsingin yliopiston ja MIKSEI Mikkelin kanssa. Valmistuksessa käytetty ainoastaan suomalaisia raaka-aineita ja humalaa.

"Georg Magnus Sprengtporten (1740-1819) oli merkittävä sotilaskasvatuksen uudistaja, joka teki uransa kahden suurvallan - Ruotsin ja Venäjän - kenraalina. Hän aloitti suomalaisen upseerikoulutuksen Savon prikaatin komentajana Ristiinassa vuonna 1777. Tämä sivistynyt kosmopoliitti oli myös Suomen itsenäisyys-aatteen pioneeri. Osa Sprengtportenin sotilaiden palkasta maksettiin oluena ja humalankasvatuksesta säädettiin jopa laissa. Lakia vuodelta 1734 ei ole edelleenkään kumottu."

Bottle (from KCM Kupittaa, Turku). Hazy orangeish golden colour with small white head. Aroma is floral, some nectary, sweetness and mild herbs. Gusher warning, but ended up ok after some attempts. Flavour is floral, fruity, nectary and mild honey and some apricot.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Almost clear reddish golden, small head. Starchy nose with apples and hay. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Bubblegum, wheat flour, apples and spicy hay. Mild and mellow. The fairly odd flavours come together in harmony. Low bitterness. Pleasant, if quirky.

ABV: 4.7%. Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, fruity malt, pale malt, sweet malt, light nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, fruity malt, toasted, nutty touch. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20240322]

Smell of hay, apple. Clear golden colour, extreme white head. Aroma of sweet malt, yeast, bread. Wheat in finish. Sweet. Foamy carbon.
