--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Deep copper colour, brief head. Aroma of butterscotch and ash. Sweet with medium body and clean, hard mouthfeel. Lots of diacetyl and ashy smoke. Tary bitter finish.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is wooden, some mild toffee, mild wooden and earthy tones. Flavour is floral, toffeeish, wooden and some mild earthy tones.

ABV: 5.5%. Clear medium brown amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, toasted - toasted, caramel - toffee, dark malt, smoke - meat touch. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, dark malt, sweet malt, caramel - toffee - butterscotch, DMS - butterscitch, sweet malt - brown sugar - burnt sugar, burnt caramelized malt touch. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20240223]

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, orangey brown with a smallish, beige head. Caramelly nose, buttery with a hint of smoke. Medium body, sweet toffee and caramel again with a smoky edge. Hardly any bitterness. 090124

Bottled. A red-brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and a bit of bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a dry finish.
