アメリカ、カリフォルニア州のAnchor Brewing社が開発したラガー酵母を高温発酵させたビールが原型。通常のピルスナーよりはやや濃い色味で苦味と飲みごたえのバランスを意識している。とりあえずビール的な存在。名前の由来はパシフィカというニュージーランド由来のホップの名前とブルワリーから臨む太平洋（パシフィックオーシャン）にあやかっている。

Tap at the Fushimi Festival. Medium amber, medium head. Nutty, malty aroma, toasty, some brown sugar. Nice malty flavor, not too sweet, slightly fruity and nutty. Nice.
