Decocted Helles w/ Pax Verum — Ah how we love making a Helles with Sugar Creek Malt Co.’s Edelweiss malt. This is the second collaborative offering from us and our friends at Pax Verum. We took a new take on a decocted Helles and we love it. We used Grüngeist in the whirlpool, at a rate a little heavy handed for a typical Helles, which has provided a nice subtle floral and fruity character.

Wood, biscuit malt, and straw aroma. Pale yellow with moderate white head. Mildly sweet biscuit malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body.
