Bottle. Pours a dark brown hue with a small beige head. A huge nose, brown sugar, woody, vanilla. Rich, very sweet vanilla extract, really hits like extract which isn't my thing, woody, some heat, cocoa. Definitely unique.

On tap at Fremont, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is complex, showcasing a big bourbon barrel character, lots of vanilla, and some burnt sugars. Flavour is extremely sweet, with tons of vanilla and sugars upfront; so much so that the bourbon, while present, is buried beneath the vanilla and sugar. Surprisingly not that boozy for a 14%'er, but the sugars are pretty cloying. Lots of complexity here, but too sweet for me.
