Waxed, capped 375 from Tavour. Pours dark brown with a creamy dark tan head. Aroma of dark malt, bourbon and vanilla. Full bodied. Not dry, approaching sticky. Heat is moderate. That and a touch of wood astringency seems to substitute for hop. Flavor is dark malt/toffee, treacle and vanilla. Some slightly spicy herb thing is present.

Bottle. Pours opaque chestnut, small beige head, good lacing. Aroma is bourbon, wintergreen, cocoa, molasses, toffee. Flavor is medium plus sweet, light plus bitter. Not bad at all, but there is a hint of toothpaste that is weird. Full body
