Fat på All In Beer Fest 2017. Svart med liten brunbeige krona om ens det. Kola, choklad, ekfat, toffee, fatkaraktär. Helt ok med sötma. Känns mer som den legat på oanvända ekfat, inte mycket av bourbon/Jack Daniels.

On tap at Christian Firtal. Black with a lasting tan head. Aroma of chocolate, dried fruit and caramel, with a touch of alcohol and solvents. Sweet roasted flavour with chocolate and a dusty note.

Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pour black with a thin tan head. Aromas of bourbon, vanilla, dark chocolate, soy, light roast and booze heat. Taste is surprisingly thin, liquorice, dark chocolate, whisky. Boozy linger.

Can shared at a tasting at troubles’ place. Thanks Rasmus40 for this can! Black with a tan head. Bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, roast, dark fruits, caramel, alcohol, sweetish, some umami, soy sauce, a bit of coffee, medium to full-bodied, rounded mouthfeel. Very nice.

Can 33cl. Brune foncée, col beige. Arôme offre de suite de fines effluves de whisky tourbé, le tout ponctué par des notes de malts, caramel et grillé, fruité noir. Palais est malté, grillé, caramel, chocolaté, touche légère de tourbé et une barrique assez modeste. Fruité noir en accompagnement. Je m’attendais à qcq chose de plus puissant niveau de la barrique. Reste correcte.

Aroma has salty licorice and some raw-ish whiskey. Flavour has plastic, sweet bourbon, some salty licorice and coffee. Messy and heavy. The original was better.

330ml can from Beergium. Pours pitch black with a bubbly light brown head. Aroma of stingy bourbon, hints of vegetables, buttery notes, earthy roastiness, chocolate and syrup. Taste is stingy, earthy and syrupy with some peaty oak and roasty notes. Finish is sweetish, stingy and woody with some hints of peat, roastiness and earthy notes. Slightly better than the regular version.

Can from Boxbeers. Black with a smal brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, dark sugar and peat. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with a little warming alcohol. A bit sticky. 270417
