Canned 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, thanks! Shared with him and kajser27. Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head weak dusty grainy nose. Weak malty, weak grainy, rather notes of dust and hint of caramel with watery finish. Why...

Can from the Plodine store in Medulin. Pale golden body, shiny, medium white head. Light malty, grainy aroma. Light, weak grainy taste, dry. Not moreish, extremely boring and major proof that Reinheitsgebot can be a bad thing.

0,33 Steinie bottle bought somewhere in the Hannover area. Clear golden in the glass with a nearly two finger off white foamy head. What could you expect more from a Pilsener? Sweet malty with grain in the nose. Taste is more grainy, spicy, some malt with sweetness in the background. Increasing bitterness, metallic, dry, getting rough, less taste to the end.

718. Wolters Pilsener - Pivo kupljeno u Plodinama, napravljeno po čuvenom njemačkom zakonu o čistoći piva bla bla bla... Naravno, mirisa nema, a okus nekako vuče na kiselu stranu. Bezveze...

Can, 0.5l. Clear golden pour, soapy, short lasting white head. Nose is mostly malty, with yeast and some hops in the background. Thin to medium body, regular to high carbonation with watery texture. Bittersweet. Aroma of malts, yeast, corn, grains, a bit of hops. Regular finish. Overall, nothing to write home about here. Avarage pilsener. When served ice cold it’s refreshing and quite drinkable.

Can (from Maxima). Pours golden with white head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is sweet, grainy, malty, baking flour, some caramel. Flavor follows the nose, but also has slight metalli flavors. Body is on the thin side. Overall: not offending, just random drinkable-ish pale lager.

500 ml can, $1 at Famous Liquors. Pours a bright, pale yellow pilsener color under a sudsy head. Smell has the hard water treatment and a bit of sodium that comes from certain pilsneners. Taste, though, falls just under par. Watery, a bit of noble hop, a bit sweet and somehow artificial. But that’s generally the result of cheaper German lagers after a long overseas voyage. I’ll get by.

Clear golden. Tall fluffy head. Good retention. Grainy aroma with a note of cardboard. Light to medium body. Sweet malty taste. A winy note. Relatively low bitterness. A strange Pils. Grassy & citric hoppiness is not the case with this one.
