Keg at Bryggeri Munkbron, Stockholm. Clear amber, mid sized head. Generous aroma of grapefruit, tangerine and leaves. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Lightly fruity with bread, grapefruit and tangerine, some earthy component that adds a dimension. Long bitter finish.

On tap at Birrificio Italiano, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma has a very weird hop character—almost fungal and sulphuric—with little else discernible. Flavour has a strange hop expression, with earthy hops, fungal notes, and bready malt. Not a great hop expression. This doesn’t work.

Tap @ Melkebaren. Almost clear golden under a dense, lacing white head. Moderate aroma, soft malt, herbs and slightly fruity. Taste is nice, smooth, soft malt, some generic fruitiness, some pine and good bitterness. Balanced body with average aftertaste. Decent, almost a bit too gentle old school IPA that I suspect might be a bit old due to previous ratings.

Draught@TCBW2024. Hazy golden colour with a small white fluffy head. Aroma is citrus, caramel, some toffee and mild biscuity tones too. Flavour is tropical fruits, citrus, caramel, toffee and mild biscuity tones with some bitterness in the finish. Pleasant and nicely old school.

330ml bottle bought as part of a delivery from Beer Merchants and drunk at home. Dark orange gold, clear with a smattering of uneven off-white head. Big aroma of pine resin, pink grapefruit, satsuma peel. Bittersweet taste, massive hop oil, grapefruit predominant with some grassy notes. Big resinous finish. Medium body, slightly oily, low carbonation. Brilliant old school IPA.

6,6%. Lys amber. Nesten klar. Høyt luftig skum som daler sakte og etterlater litt lacing. Aroma av søt frukt. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken appelsinskall. Tørr, forsiktig bitter avslutning.
