Omaggio agli USA e al mitico luppolo Cascade, Asteroid 56013 è emblema della Renaissance della craft beer statunitense. In legame diretto con le prime West Coast IPA, è luppolata seguendo la regola delle 4C. L'Asteroide, a cui fa riferimento il nome e l'illustrazione sull'etichetta, è ispirato alla novella di Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Il Piccolo Principe. 56013 era invece il numero di codice del Cascade durante la fase di coltivazione sperimentale: da qui trae spunto la nostra India Pale Ale, pronta a sfoderare armi e aromi per la sua personale conquista interstellare.

0.375l bottle thanks to Lore. Slightly hazy golden body with a white head. Aroma and taste of pine resins, orange peel, caramel, grapefruit and some gingerbread. Nice long lasting hop bitterness in the finish. Very nice IPA.

Clear dark golden to amber colour, one inch of stable creamy ecru head, aroma of pine resiny, grapefruity, orange peel oils, some toasted rye bready, caramel and minimal tropical fruity notes; taste is dominated by resiny-hoppy bitterness with similar notes to the aroma; great classical IPA

Tap at Ranzani 13, Bologna, Italy. Pours loaded gold with persistent whitish foam, medium grained. Aroma is highly resinous, piney, hoppy. Body is average, like carbonation. Taste is medium-high bitter, with some underlying sweetness. Final is long and bitter.

Keg at the Italian Job, Chiswick. It pours clear amber with a decent foamy white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, resinous, ripe peachiness, papaya, west coast dankness and rope. The taste is bitter - sweet, west coast dankness, pine, greenness, resin, boozy kick, bit of toffee and some ripe peachiness with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. I like it. Good old school west coast ipa vibes.
