Can. After looking at the description, I thought this may taste more like an IPA; but I was wrong. First off, it pours mostly clear and golden pale with a nice even mild pine nose.Yes first the taste is plenty hop but lacks many of the ill IPA characters I don't like, its simply even and controlled. The thing I notice on the initial big swig is its higher level of co2, makes it fairly refreshing from the start. This is followed up by some medium bitter hops but, its not in yer face, its polished and unstained. In the middle, this is actually going down pretty smooth. Lot of the ill ale character that I have come to know is mostly suppressed. This stuff is really clean and respectable on my palate, its even invigorating to an extent. Finishes nicely without any mouth coating negative hop attributes. Glad I picked this up, I could use a few more of these. It is civilized and easy to get along with, like many well made pale lagers. There, you have it. This stuff is not as good as Indigo Imp Jester, Fin City White Marlin Pale Ale, Crooked Tongue Easy on the Tongue or even Brew Keepers Deathwind Pale Ale but i must say, its pretty darn good for an APA. JMHO!

Sample at Daily Growler Powell. Clear pale orange color with a medium thin frothy white head that dissipates gradually to a dense film. Sticky strings of lace. Aroma of floral hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, citrus and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a floral hop aftertaste. Decent overall.
