German-style Hefeweizen. The distinctive fresh flavours of this style come from the fruity yeast and the wheat based malt bill. The pike is back in tall can - the original hazeboi!

Bottled. Hazy orangeish amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma is wheat, some citrus, mild yeast as well as some spicy and herbal notes. Flavour is very similar with some slight toffee and mild herbal notes. Balanced, but a bit homebrewish wheat.

Can at home from Stockholm, 24th September 22. Pours quite clear for a Hefeweizen, some head. Aroma is light banana and yeast, some clove. Taste is sweet, banana, clove and yeast, it’s not bad, but not top for the style

0.44 l can from Systembolaget Tuna Park, Eskilstuna. Shared with Marko and Ogi at the Grand 7.a2.ting 2021. Hazy orange colour, small off-white head. Moderately hoppy, citrusy, orange. Light banana, phenols coming up and taking over soon. Harsh phenolic, turning to plastic and smoke. Moderately hoppy flavour, fruity. Banana, moderately phenolic, some bitterness. Light body, moderate carbonation, light finish. Nice hop profile, nice estery profile, harsh phenols.

Canned 440ml. -Courtesy of hrabren, shared with him & Marko, thanks! Unclear orange/golden coloured, medium sized airy white head, mild wheaty fruity nose. Wheaty, yeasty, fruity, light spicy and touch of grass with bitterish finish.

Can, huge thanks Hrabren! Citric touches, hoppy I'd guess, with peppery phenolics, some estery notes, and, seemingly, light DMS. Cleaner taste, bubblegum, white wine notes, wheaty maltiness, the bubblegum in particular being more dinstictive than in many Weizens I've had recently. Nice light bitterish herbal finish. Not fantastic necessarily, but tasty.

Fra flaske 330ml kjøpt på Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Gylden. Lavt luftig skum som daler sakte. Lett sitrusaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken som aromaen. Blir for søt & uvariert.
