This deep yellow, slightly hazy saison has a fine, persistent head with a beautiful light cream color. The very complex scents immediately evoke flower fields and make you gently land on a sea of thyme and rosemary. As soon as the beer warms up, the vegetal scents evolve into a wonderful floral bouquet, which finishes with clear notes of ground pepper.

Skivsläpp Marching Band. Smak och doft av aprikos, jäst, citron, citrus, örter, hö, koriander, honung och vitt te. Rund och len. Lite sträv i gommen, välbalanserad mellan smakerna. Fruktig, fantastisk doft med en tydlig beska med smak av chili och peppar. Lagom av allt där smakerna inte slåss om utrymmet utan kommer till tals var och en. Ligger kvar länge i gommen.

Small creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet funky fruity, light malts, yeast, citrus, wheat, canned fruits, hay, almonds. Taste is slightly sweet, wheat, yeast, sugar, almond cake, hay, grain. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Nice one.

Flaske fra polet, hjemme: ah, hvilken frisk og forførerisk duft som stiger opp gjennom et flott skum! Aprikos, fersken, ananas og andre lyse frukter. Smaken er likeledes, et suverent øl å drikke mens man rater siste Cardinaltreff, kommer lett i evangeliseringsmodus i løpet av en slik flaske.

Pizzeria Paradiso, Alexandria tap ($9): Pours cloudy yellow with a small head. Aroma is soapy, spices, with some non-saison funk, but a funk nevertheless. Taste is just a barrage of spiciness in every which direction. The finish and aftertaste is tinged with a bit of chilly pepper. Unusual beer, but not in what I would consider a good way. Complex, but not for any good reason.

Big bottle from Rosso de Bianco in Palau cons 2013-08-05 La Saline I noted ABV of 5%... not 100% sure since the bottle is in Sardinia and Im back home;) AR: floral, citrus, apricots, camomile AP: wee hazy honey colored body, head na F: citrus, apricots, chili - peppery, earl grey Tea (bergamont)

Bottle shared with ClubGonzo. The colour is cloudy deep dark straw, and has a large off-white colored head that is like whipped egg white. The aroma is dominated by light malt, straw, spices, flowers, nutmeg and a little apricot. The taste is interesting and spicy with flowers, a little anise and honey. Also has a nice sweetness. Mouth feel is smooth and rich, with a light bitterness. This beer is very balanced and nice. The spicy touch makes it an interesting beer with food.

750ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Hamar and shared with friends. Gives a good shot followed by smoke when opened. Creamy, airy, white head. Dotted spots to the glass. Cloudy golden body. Sweet fruity nose, hints of lemon, lightly spiced. Sweet orange taste joined by clove and wheat-like sweetness. Dry bittersweet end. Soft in the mouth. Food friendly and with some interests (Ottestad, 15.02.2013).
