This deep yellow, slightly hazy saison has a fine, persistent head with a beautiful light cream color. The very complex scents immediately evoke flower fields and make you gently land on a sea of thyme and rosemary. As soon as the beer warms up, the vegetal scents evolve into a wonderful floral bouquet, which finishes with clear notes of ground pepper.

Bottled 750ml. -from Vrutak Zagreb. Cloudy orange/golden coloured, small white to off-white head, quite fizzy, peppery fruity nose. Moderate malty, peppery fruity, light spices and yeasty with notes of coriander and cinnamon. Dusty spicy finish. Well balanced and very good brew.

Bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours hazy golden with a rather small frothy and fizzy white head that doesn’t leave much trace while dissipating. Smell is slightly estery and phenolic with dough, baked pears, marzipan, dry soil, pepper corns and lemon zest. Taste is slightly sweet, tiny bitter, estery and phenolic with white bread, dough, pears, apples, marzipan, dry soil, pepper corns, sheet metal and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is round, tiny dry, tiny tart and light bodied. Finish is estery and phenolic with dough, pears, apples, hay, dry soil, pepper corns, sheet metal and lemon zest. Ok...

Dobre, ladnie wygladajace piwo z lekka metnoscia oraz biala piana. Aromatyczne koloru jasno pomaranczowego. Bukiet slodowo zbozowy. W smaku lekkie ale o wyraznej nucie przyprawowej. Cynamon, kolendra oraz biszkopty. Slod lekko wyczuwalny takze chmiel jest delikatny. Wspolgra tu wszystko mimo tej delikatnosci.

0.75l corked bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a light cloudy golden looking one, loaded with floaters and sediments. All this under a small quite disappointing off-white top. Smells a bit old. Mild yeasty and definitely fruity sweet. It has a nice peppery spicy touch to it. Lots of ginger and some cardamon. It just needed a little bit of temperature and time in the glass then it opened up. It's a little it above average on the carbonation level this and it has a thin oily feeling in the mouth. Soft peppery spiced flavors. A good amount of sweetness here. Zesty melon and it lacks in bitterness. Not my cup of saison. A tad to sweet and perhaps even what I will call sugary sweet. 15.01.2014

Draught, stable frothy head, clear light gold colour, aroma of rubber and yeast with hints of coriander, sweet fruity candy flavour with some lemon drops and a hint of tea, and spicey black pepper tingling. Nice and drinkable but a bit too sweet to my taste.

Keg at Open Baladin, Roma, 09/02/14. Lightly hazed golden with a good sized white head that thins then retains as a pond. Nose is floral, straw, lemon rind, grass, tangerine, herbal tones. Taste comprises bitter orange, lemon rind, citric tinged straw, light spice, tangerine, floral notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi dry closure. Easy drinking saison but lacks a little depth for me.
