440ml can bought at Wobbly Aleways in Newcastle. Shared with Finn on a TransPennine Express train from Newcastle to Manchester. Poured a pitch black body under a steady fawn-coloured head that left clingy lacing on the glass. Fine blended aromas of berry skins and roasted dark malts. Similar taste of chocolate malts mixed with berries, dry and just a little tartness to it. Prolonged ending, roasted malt and berries. Nice. (21.03.2024).

3/4/2024. Can at The Arbor House, Ipswich. Pours black with a frothy beige head. Aroma is chocolate, mild roasted malts, cherry, berries, dark and dried fruits. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, hint of berry tart. Medium plus body, smooth, soft carbonation. Also nicely done.

Delt med Rune på Transpennine Express mellom Newcastle og Manchester. Svart. Middels høyt luftig skum som daler sakte. Litt lacing. Aroma av lakris & bær. Smaken røstet malt & tørre bær. Tørr avslutning. Boks fra Wobbley Aleways i Newcastle.

Can from Hydrology. Pours opaque near-black with a thin tan head. Red berry and chocolate aromas. Taste is heavy on the charcoal end of stouts, the fruitiness is quite light compared to some flavoured beers on the market these days. Dry finish. Didn't mind it.
