This fruity New England IPA has been brewed with Sanders New England yeast (named after our good pal Bernie Sanders) and torrofied oats to produce a hazy, easy-drinking NEIPA with a silky mouthfeel. A combination of Citra, Talus and Idaho-7 hops on both the hot and cold side additions provides for Mango, Grapefruit and Tropical Stone-fruit flavours with a smooth, moreish finish.

Half-pint, draught, shared with Finn at Brinkburn Street Brewery. Unclear golden body, spotty lacing, decent white head. Aromas of fruity wheat with a moderately floral touch. Hints of peaches and mango to the taste character. Discreet fruity bitterness. Fair enough. Tribute beer to The Fall and Mark E. Smith. (Byker - Newcastle upon Tyne, 20.03.2024).

Delt med Rune. Gusjegrågul. Middels høyt kremaktig skum. Daler sakte. Litt lacing. Aroma av søt, overmoden sitrusfrukt. Smaken som aromaen. Grapefrukt etter hvert. Forsiktig tørr avslutning.

26/9/2022. 440ml can bought at CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours hazed/cloudy pale orange gold with a frothy white head. Aroma of peach, citrus, mango, orange, light spicy notes. Medium sweetness and light bitterness with a tart edge. Moderate body, slightly watery, average carbonation. Something didn’t really click for me and not for the first time it involves Talus hops.
