Keg at the Werewolf taproom, 21/06/24. Light black veering towards extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a good sized beige head. Nose is coffee bean, dark malts, mellow roast, toffee. Taste comprises coffee grinds, toasted brown sugars, dark malts, charr, cocoa sprinkle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent enough coffee stout.

Tap at the brewery taproom Camden. A clear mahogany brown coloured pour with a lasting khaki head. Aroma is nice earthy coffee bean, green coffee bean, pepper, mellow roast,. Flavour is composed of rich earthy coffee bean, pepper, grass, woody roast. Mellow earthy roast, green pepper. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, moderate carbonation. Not bad.

From backlog. On tap, at Werewolf Beer, Camden, London. Black with some lightbrown head. Roasted Malts, coffee, some fruit, and dry bitterness.

1/2 pint, draught at Werewolf Brewery and Taproom, shared with Finn. Jet black in the glass, fawn-coloured head leaving clingy lacing behind. Roasted dark malty nose, hints of fruit, promising. Balanced taste of grainy dark malts and dried fruits. Well roasted ending, not too sweet. Like it. (Camden-Kentish Town, London 16.03.2024).

Delt med Rune. Svart. Middels høyt tett mokkafarget skum. Aroma av kaffe & melkesjokolade. Smaken lettrøstet malt. Tørr bitter avslutning. Gjennomgående kaffepreg.

On tap at The Green Goddess, Blackheath Royal Standard. Black pour with a tan head. Smoky, coffee aromas, whack of dark chocolate, raisin. Taste is dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, smoke, cocoa. Smoky sweet finish. Very nice.

On tap at Werewolf, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has gentle coffee upfront, with a soft toasted malt. Flavour isn't particularly deep, but has a soft coffee character upfront, toasted malt, and some earthiness. Clean and nicely coffee-centric with minimal sweetness. Good.
