Growler fill from the Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours black with a thin beige head. Aromas of dark chocolate and almond. Taste is synthetic almond, chocolate and light coffee. Sweet finish.

Growler thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - jet black with a beige head. Nose - marzipan and cherry stone. Dark chocolate. Taste - sweet chocolate and caramel with synthetic Amaretto flavouring. Palate - medium bodied and sweet. Overall - too synthetic for me!

440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Shared with Finn. Fawn-coloured head over a coal black body, spotty lacing. Slightly roasted malty smell, hints of chocolate sweetness. Soft caramel-chocolate flavours added by marzipan sweetness. Sweet malty ending, slightly roasted. Has got some sipper qualities but gets a tad too sweet in the long run. (Tromsø, 06.01.2024).

Spandert av Rune. Delt i WCveien. Svart. Lavt mokkafarget skum. Litt lacing. Aroma av marsipankake. Smaken det samme. Uvariert. Passer sikkert utmerket som dessert.

Can at home. Pours deep brown, nose is almond, cake icing, chocolate, hints of fruit, taste is sweet caramel, vanilla, raspberry, chocolate, icing sugar quite sweet. I do love battenburg, and this nails it.
