Copper-coloured beer brewed with 5 hops and 3 malts. Fairly malty flavour balanced with predominantly English hops. E.L. Wisty was one of the many creations of my namesake, Peter Cook. Thought it was about time to exploit the connection.

Maris Otter Pale Ale malt, crystal malt, Chocolate malt; Admiral, Galena, Pilgrim, Pioneer and Green Bullet hops.

Cask ale at Alehouse, half-pint shared with Finn. A bubbly off-white head, over a clear ruby-brown body, laces fine. Pretty inviting aromas of earthy malts with a caramel scent. Malt-driven flavours, hints of caramel, earth, and a bite of dried fruits. Moments of roasted bitterness to the ending. Pretty decent. (Reading, 01.10.2023).

Delt med Rune. Mørk amber. Klar. Filmskum. Mandelaroma. Smaken tørket fukt. Tørr, lett bitter avslutning.
