Can from Vine & Bine, Solihull. Pours near black with small beige head. Aroma of dark malts, citrus, herbs. Taste has an earthiness with hint of liquorice and a moderate sweet fruity orange and lime and a herbal finish. Light to medium bodied, semi drying with a light fruity tang. Well brewed.

440ml can, #473, bought at BeerKat, shared with Finn. Ruby-black body, stable beige head, spotty lacing. Inviting malt-fruity aromas, roasted dark malt and herbal hops. Fine blended taste of dark malts, including moments of liquorice, and ripe citrus. Roasted bitterness to the finish. Nice, just a bit thin on the palate. (Hotel room, Ealing, London, 30.09.2023).

Delt med Rune på rom 103, Premier Inn Ealing. Svart. Høyt luftig skum med litt farge. Godt med lacing. Aroma av røstet malt & flukt. Siklemyk munnfølelse. Smaken som aromaen. Hint av melkesjokolade. Tørr, lett bitter avslutning.

Draft at the brewery. Poured clear, almost black, with an everlasting frothy, light tan head. The aroma is roasty, dry ashtray. The flavour is over moderate liqourice bitter, with a crisp, dry, earthy, herbal, ashtray, light floral, woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. A super BIPA with a little body and less carbonation which suits the style.
