Svart med lys brunt skum. Lukter salt lakris, tobakk, mørk sjokolade og kaffe. Middels fylde. Smaker salt lakris, kakaopulver og havre. Middels lang.

Olmost black with a light brown head - Malt aroma with some roasted notes and some chocolate hints as well - Malt body with some roasted flavours with some chocolate and coffee notes with bitterness - Malt flaovurs with bitterness goes into the finish - This was good

YG 050424. black color with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, dried fruit, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is roasted malt, pine, coffee, dried fruit, alcohol, molasses, chocolate, coffee, licorice. Very nice beer.

Can. A black one, topped by a dense, finger-thick beige head leaving lacing. The aroma makes me doubt it's gonna be a dry one, but as it's 8% ABV I guess I will prove wrong. Roasted malts, some burnt notes and charcoal, with dark dried fruit and licorice in the back. Some alcohol. It's full-bodied and lightly warming, very nicely carbonated, and not as sweet as first guessed. Not very dry either, so I wasn't completely wrong. Roasted malts, charcoal and molasses in the flavor, with dark chocolate, dried fruit, espresso and some peat. Coffee style bitterness, and some alcohol. Really long and quite delicious finish. A very fine brew indeed, sure on of the most interesting ones from Ægir lately. Looking forward to have the barrel-aged one very soon. 240405

Can at Cat&Barrell. Pours opaque brownish black with large off-white. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel, fudge, malt syrup, malt drops and ammonium chloride. Taste is medium to very sweet, light bitter and faint acidic. Body is oily with soft carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with malt, caramel, oak barrel, vanilla, fudge.

440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Firm tan-coloured head slowly diminishing over a jet black body, spotty lacing. Invited roasted, well, rather peaty, smell of grainy chocolate. Dark chocolate flavours joined by earth and oak, distant moments of coffee. Peaty ending notes, dry, long-lived. Good drinking on a Sunday afternoon. (Tromsø, 07.01.2024).

0,44 boks fra deen statlige postordrekatalogen, delt med Kitty: nessten hetl svart med fint skum som varer. Deilig aroma av lakris, 70-sjokolader og nytraktet kaffe. Smaken er i tillegg avrundet med en behagelig tørr bitterhet i avslutningen. Jeg burde bestilt minst to av denne.

Delt med A-L på Lillehøgda. Svart. Høyt luftig mokkafarget skum som daler sakte. Etterlater litt lacng. God lakrisaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken tørr. Litt sjokolade - mest lakris. Hint av kaffe i avslutninga. Bra den!
