Half-pint, cask ale at Bricklayers Arms. Bright golden body, filmy layer, scattered lacing. Moderate smell of grassy hops joined by a citric touch. Mid-dry citric flavours and a bite of white bread. Mid-dry ending, fruity with a discreet bitter bite. Medium to thin bodied. Easy going. (Luton 18.02.2023).

16/6/2022. Cask at the 30th East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival, Bury St Edmunds. Pours clear dark gold with a small frothy off-white head. Good looking beer. Aroma is citrus, malt, caramel, veg, musty, mucky, earthy, bit farty even. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Oily and watery, soft carbonation. Drying, stewed finish. Like their other one on at the festival, looked great but didn’t seem right – possibly heat affected?
