1/3 pint, gravicask, shared with Finn at GBBF Winter '23. Dark brownish body under a patchy, beige head, dotted spots on the glass. Prominent and promising coffee aromas. Coffee in the forefront of the taste profile, joined by dark chocolate. Coffee, slightly roasted bitter endnotes. Quite easy to drink. Pleasant. (Burton Upon Trent, 16.02.2023).

Gravity cask at the GBBF Winter 2023 Festival, day 2 at Burton On Trent Town Hall, 17/02/23. Light black with a khaki cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, coffee grinds, big earthy roast, charr, spice. Taste comprises dark malts, more coffee grinds, ashen nip, chocolate sprinkle, dried fruits. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close. Decent roasty cask stout.

Cask at the great British winter beer festival. A hazed dark brown black coloured pour with a lasting loose khaki head. Aroma is nutty raw chocolate, hazelnut spread. Thistle. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded, hazelnut, chocolate powder, veg, pepper. Palate is semi sweet, oily, moderate carbonation. Decent stout.
