Ultramørk amber. Filmskum med litt farge. Aroma av nøtter & malt. Smaken karamell. Tørket frukt i en tørr bitter avslutning.

Cask at THE Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a hazy medium brown colour with a bubbly off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, nutty, light red berry fruits. The flavour is light sour, with a smooth, slightly watery, light tart red berry fruit palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Disappointing.

Cask at Sun Inn, Stafford. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a small beige head. There’s malts and marmite in the aroma. Malts to the fore again in the mouth, along with liquorice, and hints of dark fruits. Finish is quite fruity. This is a decent strong mild – but there are better ones.
