Keg at the Floc Taproom, Canterbury, 25/08/23. Black with a good sized light beige cap that retains well. Nose is roast malts, liquorice, charr, raisins, burnt toffee. Taste comprises cacao nibs, light spice, fruit cake, mellow roast, light ashen tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Tasty stout.

Near balck with a frothy beige head and milk chocolate and mild coffee on the nose. there's a touch of treacle in the taste with roasted malt, some coffee and dry bitterness to finish things off

1/3 pint, draught at Floc. Brewing Tap. Shared with Finn. Beige patches on the surface of a jet black body, lacing rings down the glassware. Roasted malty aromas, promising. Creamy, grainy chocolate malty flavours, distant notes of dark fruits. Rounded roasted malty ending, semi-sweet. Medium bodied. Decent stout version. (Rating no. 22900) (Canterbury 11.02.2023).
