Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 21/12/23. Lighter shade of black with a good sized lasting tan head. Nose is coffee bean, charr, spice, dark malts, chocolate, mellow roast. Taste comprises chocolate, nutty, coffee grinds, charr, toffee, mellow roast. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough coffee forward stout ... shame its a touch over-carbed.

18/11/2023. Can from Darren, cheers! Pours very dark brown with a frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, lactose, roasted malt. Medium sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Medium body, quite smooth, soft carbonation.

Half-pint, draught at Powder Monkey Taphouse. Shared with Finn. Pitch black in the glass, covering beige head, fair lacing. Attractive roasted malty nose, rather sweet. Dark malt-driven taste of chocolate and moments of coffee grounds, mild lactose backbone. Smoothly roasted finish. Medium bodied. Nice (Gosport 19.10.2022).

Delt med Rune. Svart. Filmskum med litt farge. God sjokoladearoma. Smaken lakris & karamell. Søt, lett røstet avslutning.

Can ordered from the brewery. Coffee aroma with an evident lactose injection. Dark. You know, stygian. Creamy beige head soon recedes. Coffee is certainly the focal point - rich with a berry edge. However there is also sugary creamy streak. Light-medium bodied. Slick with a touch of cream. Average carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Well... an enjoyable Coffee milk stout but part of me feels it's a tad OTT and could do with some more balance.
