This is a modern brown ale - the only one in a category that we invented to bring traditional brown ale into the 21st century. The beer retains it's malty character, but with plenty of classic english hop varieties to lift the flavour and give it freshness.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - BB 21.7.16, from Alko, 20150612) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, molasses, biscuits and earth. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, grass, sweetness, biscuits and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A thin brown ale.

A brown beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has sourbread, herbs and some vegetables. Taste is bready, strong herbs, hint of vegetables, some harsh bitterness in the end. Medium bodied. Unbalanced bread with herbs,also notes of vegetables, a weak beer.

Aroma has nuts, hay and some bready malt. Also slight metallic vibes. Flavour has metallic tones, some nuts, bready malt and hay. Also toffee. Too much metal here. Gets better at the end of the glass though, perhaps the metal is present only when this is cold.
