This is a modern brown ale - the only one in a category that we invented to bring traditional brown ale into the 21st century. The beer retains it's malty character, but with plenty of classic english hop varieties to lift the flavour and give it freshness.

Bottle at 100 piv. Aroma fruity, dried fruits. Caramel. Clear brown colour. Quickly disappearing head. Taste is somewhat metallic with associated astringency. Otherwise full malty flavour, nutty, caramel. Slightly thin bodied which is ok for style but I would like more body. Good one overall.

Bright clear amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is light with a fine minerally crispness. Sweetish malts bring thin cream and a little fruity caramel. Mild red berry fruits in to mild marmalade/ Smooth finish. A nicely joined up and tasty little number.
