Chestnut brown, hazy, tall beige head. The aroma is dark malts, yeast, fruit. Light body. Yeasty taste provides notable fruity sourness. Additional caramel, roast, spice. Mediocre by style standards.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks zvikar. Cloudy amber-brown. Fruity esters, malt, caramel, yeast, bread, light spiciness, sweetish, a bit of tartness, medium-bodied. Decent.

Bottle (from SIP, Tallinn). Pours brown with light-brown beige head. Thea head stays for some moments. Aroma is sweet, banana, caramel, wheat. Flavor is sweet, caramel, malt, wheat, metallic notes. Body is watery. Overall: drinkable, but very bland compare to hefe-s.

Bardzo dobre ciemne pszeniczne piwo. Ze spora i trwala pianka, ciemno bursztynowej brazowawej barwie, mocno metne. Aromat pumpernikiel sliwki w occie oraz nuta kwaskowa dosc wyrazna. Do tego wytrawne tresciwe i sycace piwo. Naprawde ladny wyglad i etykieta. Piwo godne polecenia

Fra flaske (bb. 060614) på rbhd-samling hos Sigmund, juni-15: flott brunlig ravfarge med tett offwhite skum. Svak aroma, kan såvidt kjenne et oga annet bær. Slapp smak, malt og bær. Mild bitterhet. Kort. Har ikke tålt tidens tann.

500 ml bottle, BB date 06.06.2014, from CITTI-Markt Flensburg. Beautiful reddish brown colour, large off- white head. Moderate aroma of brown bread, hints of banana and cloves. Medium dry and refreshing flavour, bread, citrus and cloves. Nice enough, but not the best of the style.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear chestnut brown, short-lived white head. Spicy fruit-bread aromas, cooked banana. Taste is sweet, herbal, fruit-cake, caramel and toffee. Again a prickly carbonation stops it being cloying. A bit like coke, in that respect. And once I thought of coke, it was hard to get the flavour out of my head. Or more specifically, my mouth.
