We got sun-dried figs from Kalamata’s cooperative and also hand-picked some fresh figs from trees around the brewery. Finishing touch by harvesting fig leaves that caused some skin burns from their potent aromatic juice but the result was worth it!
Also, Lupins disrupted brewing, stretching a normal brewday into a 2-day marathon.
We might rethink before brewing it again!

can from chania, crete. somewhat strange sulphuric bitter slightly fruit stoney aroma. flavor is quite strong full bodied fruity sourish, lots of fruit stone bitter notes, but the fruity sourness is so strong that it wins and makes the beer quite drinkable. the sulphuric notes from the aroma are present in the flavor, but only if you look for them. quite nice with a fruit sour this solid, however, the flavor could be less stone and sulphur, more fruit and saison.

Fruchtiger Beginn nach Gurke und Feige. Eher süß als sauer, intensiv, unsüffig. Langer Abgang. 10/5/6/7//6

On tap at Tales of Ales Nice sour fig bomb. Medium to high sourness. Bit of sweetness. Well hidden alcohol. Very nice
