Bottle. Aroma is very mild over all, honeyish, lightly lemony. Clear golden colour. Taste is sweet, sugary, caramel. Overall malty. Lacks spices, is too sweet, but overall drinkable and IMO without off-flavours. Okay beer.

Bottle 750ml (Saveur)
Clear deep honey-golden color, small steady white head. Berryish aroma of a bit tart marmalade. Medium-bodied. Sweetish and berryish flavor with some grassy hoppyness. Sweetness covers the most of alcohol but it is there underlying. Simple, sweet and even a bit rough.

Pour is a ugly looking hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is a sweet sticky malt with plenty of sugar and sour apple. Flavor is a little better. Sweet candi sugar at first then comes more of that sour apple. Finish has lots of honey thickness and sweetness. Way to thick and cloying to be a triple and compound that with no Belgian yeastyness and you have yourself a below average triple.

Aroma is strong, vinegary, apples, wine, sweet, cider. Appearance is light amber with very short silky head. Taste is apple cider (brut), malt, honey. Mouthfeel feels watery, palate is is very light. Rather disappointed in this tripel. * Note I think this bottle is bad. It foamed when I opened it, and a previous tick on Beer Advocate I had rated this a 4... will try another.

Another french beer huh? Not expecting anything good sorry. Golden beer, nose is syrup. Aroma of sweet malts with a a soapy/medicinal tone already found in other Castelain products. Syrupy sweetness. Taste is fairly sweet indeed. Finish is sticky. Not too bad itself but just evaporates against other Tripels. Average.

Blonde with a full head that took time to dissipate-very annoying. Full bodied and powerful.Slightly sweet with a bitter finish. Balanced and pleasant.
