*Bottle from E.Leclerc in Freyming. Malty sweetish, grainy with a nice Belgian yeast. Round and malty, fresh-sugary, slightly alcoholic. Sweetish malty in the aftertaste.

0,33L bottle (from Drink Shop), BB 09.01.15. Pours slightly hazy golden with off-white head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, caramel candy, fruits. Flavor is very sweet, candy, malt, some bitterness, fruits, wheaty and metallic notes. Finish is dry bitter. Overall: simple and too sweet, but otherwise ok. --- Beer merged from original tick of Maltesse on 15 Dec 2018 at 13:22. Original review text: bl

Bottle at Chriso going Dutch tasting, 03/07/14. Ever so lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white swirl and edgeing. Nose is toffee, dark fruits, spice, pear skins, light nail polish, boozey tones. Taste comprises malty notes, spice, bready, caramel, hint of vanilla. Medium bodied, fine carbonatin, semi drying close with sweet pangs. So so.

Craig on Heat Tasting at ChrisO’s. Almost clear gold beer, fluffy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and light. Modest fine carbonation. Sugary sweetness in the airy malt. Some floralness and candy fruits. Smooth light finish. A bit sweet, even for me.

Bottle shared at chriso’s. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Sugary pale bread nose, white sugar, hay, tangy citrus. Medium to big sweet flavour, some melon, white grape, tangerine, white bread, mild yeast. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, a little boozy, with more melon, white grape. I actually like it.
