Our interpretation of a modern American Pale Ale - Body Riddle arrives at near pilsner straw colour from its minimal malt base of Floor Malted British Pale Malt, Carapils and Wheat Malt so as not to crowd a busy bright hop bill of Lemondrop, Galaxy, Simcoe and Ekuanot hops.
As per our usual delivery we’ve packed this one out with a nose of lemon rind, passionfruit, grapefruit juice and fresh piney goodness that follows through to a silky soft, sessionable body.

Keg at Brewdog Shepherd's Bush, London. A hazy yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, tropical fruit aroma and taste. Thin tasting pale ale.

Pours slightly hazy. Pale yellow. A priori very light. Confirmed after tasting. More like a hazy hoppy pilsner than an APA.

33cl Blik van Drankgigant. Voor Whiplash-standaard een vrij doorsnee APA. Fruitig, wat citrus, beetje grapefruit, vrij hoog in CO2, redelijk bitter. Lichte body.

7-3-8-4-16 Can, 210117, 09/11/21. Pours cloudy pale yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is citrusy hops with lemon and grapefruit, as well as grass and tropical minerals. Medium body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is piney hops with citrusy notes of grapefruit and lime, as well as tropical fruits and grassy minerals. Lingering, dry bitter finish. Nice, refreshing and very quaffable.

330ml. can. @home, 30/03/2021 [#3.859 Global - #111 Ireland - #11 Whiplash] Light hazed yellow with a big foamy white head. Good retention. Aroma: lemon peel, lime and grassy. Taste: very citrusy and lemony leading to a slight bitter finish. Next one please!

330ml can at home. Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow with a medium to large white head. Nose is apricot, pineapple, some orange citrus. Flavour is punchy tropical fruit, very slight smoke note. Medium carbonation

33cl can. A hazy yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of grassy and citrusy hops, pale malt, flowers. Taste of mild citrusy bitter hops, grassy hops, pale malt, soapy finish.

33 cl. can @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Hazy yellow with a big white head. Nice citrus aroma with some floral notes and tropical fruits. Sweet taste with a low bitter finish. Very nice light APA.
