Our interpretation of a modern American Pale Ale - Body Riddle arrives at near pilsner straw colour from its minimal malt base of Floor Malted British Pale Malt, Carapils and Wheat Malt so as not to crowd a busy bright hop bill of Lemondrop, Galaxy, Simcoe and Ekuanot hops.
As per our usual delivery we’ve packed this one out with a nose of lemon rind, passionfruit, grapefruit juice and fresh piney goodness that follows through to a silky soft, sessionable body.

Can: Poured a lemon yellow with a big cream frothy head. Aroma is lemon zesty, fruity, hops. Taste is bitter, fruity hops, some grainy maltness.

Random tasting session with myself on 12th Jul 2020. 330ml can from Beer52; BB 4th Jun 2021. Hazy straw body, fast leaving head. Floral, grassy and citrus nose. Taste is fruity hops with a slight bitterness.

33cl can from Beer52. Thick white head. Very hazy golden pour. Lovely bitterness.

Draft @ BrewDog Malmö. Hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity grassy citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty grassy citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity grassy citrus hoppy tropical fruit finish.

ABV: 4.5%. Hazy grey medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat - oat, moderate hoppy, zesty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, citrus, wheat, oat, zesty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20200315]
