Pours hazy yellow, a bit of foam but only a thin layer, not staying long. Aroma is interesting. Straight after pouring the beer out from the bottle it smelled of ... manure, for the lack of a better word. Smelled like fresh manure but in a good way. Later after it got more oxygen, aroma changed to something sour with a slight wet malty note. Taste was sour, dry and without any residual sweetness. No extra flavours, only sourness and wet malts, a bit of wet bread. I haven’t had too many Berliner Weisse’s in the past and those that I had were all using some kind of fruits. This one is pure and basic and I am happy it is what it is.
