Can (from Rema 1000 Hesseng). Amber colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some wood and mild kind of pumpkin (not yet Halloween like pumpkinny) like sweetish spiciness. Flavour is sweet spiciness, some sweet malts, wood and a bit bitter earthy tones to it. Not all too bad for being a Xmas time thingy. Ends a bit thin though.

Can. A crystal clear deep amber colored beer with a dense, finger-thick light beige head. Nice curtains. The aroma is perhaps a bit gentle, but nice, with caramel, toffee, some light roasted hints and a touch of coffee and dark dried fruit. It's medium to full-bodied, pleasantly carbonated and semi-dry. Bitterness and sweetness well balanced. Roasted malts, caramel, hints of dark chocolate and dark dried fruit in the flavor. Some grassy, piney hops and coffee hints too. Medium length finish. Must admit this one took me by surprise, it's sure the best beer Grans have made the last twentyfive years, and well suited as a Christmas beer. Would have been interesting to see it at around 5.5% ABV though. 240125

500ml can from Rema 1000 Pyramiden. Shared with Frau Eva. Deep mahogany coloured body under a beige head slowly diminishing while leaving dotted spots on the glassware. Quite inviting aromas of earthy malts and noble hops. Rounded taste character with hints of caramel, bread, and a moderate piney note to the ending, lightly roasted. Clean on the swallow. Easy to drink and good match with our roasted chicken food. A pleasant surprise. (Tromsø, 17.12.2023).
