Pours hazy reddish brown with a beige head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, grain and floral. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long grainy, caramel and floral finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

330ml can, #484, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsdalen. Fluffy, off-white head, close-to-clear dark amber body, crocheted lacing. Mild malt-driven aromas, roasted and semi-sweet. Mixed taste of dark, mid-sweet malts, biscuit, and ripe fruits. Roasted, mid.-sweer, malt-fruity finish. Just alright. (Tromsø, 14.12.2023).

Can. Clear amber body under a medium sized tan head. Mild malty aroma with a faint hint of chocolate. Taste is basically like a caramel malt pilsner if you have been eating a piece of milk chocolate for about ten minutes ago. Quite smooth and soft but also rather dull. Really have to search for the chocolate part and the licorice / orange part where not identified.

Solsletta Nyttårsaften 2022. Amber color with a beige head. Aroma is yeast, toffee, chocolate, licorice, roasted malt. Ordinary beer.

Can. A clear brown beer with a moderate beige head. Toffee, chocolate, roasted malts and a touch of bonfire in the aroma. It's very smooth on the palate, lightly carbonated and medium bodied, with a light touch of bitterness. Roasted malts, chocolate and a good dash of toffee in the flavor. Unbalanced and dull this one, but drinkable. 221231
