YG 030324. Deep golden color with an off-white head. Aroma is rye, malt, smoked, bonfire, bread. Flavor is rye, malt, smoked, bonfire, bread, caramel, dried apricot, dried fruit. Weird beer.

Can. A lightly hazy deep golden colored beer with a creamy, two-finger light beige head. Nice curtains. The aroma has a pleasant smokiness, bonfire, ham, and fruityness, with some bready, caramel-like maltyness. Dried apricot. It's full-bodied and very smooth on the palate, feels more like it's at 8% ABV than 5.5%. Semi-sweet, yet drying in the finish. Ham, bonfire, bread crust, dried fruit and some fresh fruit in the flavor. Sort of sweetish maltyness too, and some biscuity, cured meat like notes in the finish. Lightly spiced and peppery too, guess the rye causes that. Long finish. Not bad this one, combining rye and smoke in a pleasant way. 240303

440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Off-white, bubbly head, dissipating over a misty golden-brown body, crocheted lacing on the glass. Lightly smoked aromas with scents of dried fruits. Smoked malt-fruity flavours with a note of biscuit. Prolonged ending. Decent beer that feels a bit thin on the swallow. Fine partner while listen to Hackney Diamonds by The Rolling Stones.
