Kloster beer saw the light in 1995, when Gotland Brewery opened. One can therefore conclude that it is the market's first färsköl with stand as trendsetters for other Swedish färsköl. The malt comes from both Sweden and Finland. The hops from Germany and the USA. The yeast from the Scottish Highlands and the unique water from Gotland. The result is a trend-setter!

As a Wisby Klosterol with red label. Many thanks for this beer to Marek. Red Label. Piwo ze srednia piana, malo trwala, zlociste, o ziarnistym aromacie. W smaku annanasowa slodycz, nieco miekkiej brzoskwini i pomaranczy. Slodkawy profil ale w klasztornych to normalka, Malo vchmielne i cos tam jakas przyprawowosc lekka

Bottle, nine months before bbd, as Gotlands Wisby Kloster. Pours cloudy golden, with a big creamy head. Aroma is tart wooden yeast and zesty hops with floral notes, as well as malts with cereals, hay and toffee. Medium to full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is yeasty notes of wood and zesty, herbal hops, as well as malts with cereals. Dry finish.

Bottle. Pours cloudy amber. Aroma is citric, grassy, bread, mint. Body is medium, rather sweet, lively carbonation. Quite hoppy, actually. Dryish palate. Good.
