This collaboration with Virginia's Adroit Theory and UK party metal band Footprints in the Custard is our biggest and most metal beer yet. A huge varied grain bill entices your local neighbourhood bears but scares them off with the coconuts, the chocolate and the overall deliciousness. For adult human consumption only.

Can thanks to bro. It pours oily jet black with a dissipating deep tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, charred, dark chocolate, cacao nibs, umami, coconut husk, liquorice, dull smoke and some booze. The taste is slick, oily, toothy, chewy, bitter - sweet, plenty of chocolate, chocolate gateaux, warming booze, peppery spice, rich roasted malt, thick cakey vibes, the coconut is dull and in the background, touch of bounty bar, chocolate bourbons and some warmth through the finish. Fulsome body, fine carbonation and slick mouth feel. Decadent, but not too sweet. Hides the abv well. Fun stuff.

100ml draught at Tromsø Mikrobryggeri. Black body, bare naked surface, poor lacing. Inviting aromas of chocolate-caramel and nutshells. Well blended dark malty flavours of nutty chocolate, caramel and liquorice. Long-lived, warming ending, nicely roasted. Oily texture. Enjoying little sipper. (Tromsø 08.10.2022).
