We had our new friends Merakai come join us for a murky, hazy New England, brewed with a touch of lactose for additional creaminess! The hop bill features some big hitters such as Citra, Idaho 7 and Galaxy for lots of tropical fruit, peach and citrussy dankness. Our usual low carbonation lends a creamy texture rounded out with the small lactose addition, we deviated from our normal New England style by fermenting with Vermont yeast, one of the original NE strains to make super authentic and end the year with a bang!

440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet City Nord. Stable white head, cloudy orange-gold body, spotty lacing. Moderate smell of mango and peaches. Mixed taste character with moments of juicy oats, citrus, and some spices. Creamy, bittersweet fruity ending, semi-dry. Fine depth. Quite alright (Bodø Panorama 08.09.2022).

Tap at Murphy's Law, The Hague, The Netherlands. Pours hazy blonde, with very fine white foam. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, but also piney and tropical. Body is average, with good carbonation. Taste is moderately bitter, rather aromatic. Final is average, but for some reason feels really nice. Nicely refreshing beer.

Can from Hop Shop Aberdeen. Murky golden body with a thick white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and melon. Flavour of peppery hops and kiwi fruit. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. The hop bill is fantastic. I’ve no idea what lactose is adding here.
