Herja is a beautiful copper colored barley wine, brewed on Danish Barley, Galaxy and Amarillo hops and Danish mead aged in used sherry barrels. Flavors of red berries, rich malt and citrus. The sea buckthorn completes the taste and results in a perfectly balanced beer.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - dark amber with a little red in parts. Nose - loads of toffee and marmalade. Wood. Taste - more wood and marmalade. Palate - medium to full bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long and fairly good finish. Overall - a rich beer.

Bottle. Pours opaque chestnut with medium didn’t white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, malt syrup, malt drops, honey, spice and hint of gravy. Taste is very sweet, light to medium bitter and light acidic. Body is creamy with soft carbonation. Finish is long and balanced sweet and bitter with notes of caramel, malt, malt drops, plums syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg and honey.

Bottle Shared with Pops and ronnemos1. Pours Dark amber Brown with a creamy head. Vinous and Sweet with notes of Dark fruit, alcohol and caramel. Warmth and prickling alcohol on the tongue. Unrefined and boozy.

clear amber brown, small offwhite head. Nutty aroma, some malts, like a classic european barley wine. flavor is nutty, boozy, malts, hopped european style with no flowers or other hop driven flavors, except perhaps a little bitterness. If you like this kind of beer it is actually quite okay.

Hazy copper with a small off-white head. Malty aroma of caramel and burned sugar with a fruity note, and a little cardboard off-note. Sweet malty and fruity flavour with notable, sharp alcohol

Draft. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of caramel and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and alcohol, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle.clear amber colour with no head.Aroma of caramel and toasted malt..Flavor is a bit bready and light with hint of hops and toasted malt.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours an almost clear reddish amber with a beige head. Surprisingly subtle aroma - a slight nuttiness. Rich body, loads of caramel and some dark dried fruit. But extremely rough and boozy as if bottom fermented. Surprisingly little complexity - this is a brutal smash in your head. 180815
